The AirPort Utility app is available on the App Store as a free download. This marks the first time that the AirPort Utility application itself, however, has been updated in over a year. Over the summer, Apple released firmware security updates for the discontinued AirPort Express, Extreme, and Time Capsule Base Stations.

You can install the app by clicking on “Manage This Network” on your iOS device’s WiFi settings for an AirPort station. I work a lot with computers at my home (Wi-fi managment, DNS change, etc) but my router is an AirPort Extreme (The tall one) and I have an Android phone(No worries I wont start a debate about wich is better). AirPort Utility 6.3.1 resolves an issue where AirPort base stations may not appear in AirPort Utility.
